Artists Statement:
After 23 years of making pots I am still in awe of clay. That amazing transformation of basic mud to shiny permanent beautiful forms still gets me. I love the challenge particularly of making teapots, getting everything to balance properly, spout, lid and handle and then to spend hour’s hand decorating with luscious velvets and lustres to hopefully produce a gorgeous pot.
